Our athlete of the week is Maggie Yanak–Maggie started in the first varsity game as a sophomore. Maggie had 10 points, 3 rebounds, 5 steals, and 1 block earning her "KDSN - On The Ball Academy Player of The Game." Way to play like a Bulldog, Maggie!

Our student of the week is Kia Coenen- Kia has improved her maxes in the weight room and has even re-maxed to see her true assessments from the beginning of the year. Way to work hard and push yourself as a true Bulldog would! Congratulations!

Ms. Skinner's Elements of Writing class finished their Children's Literature unit by creating their own children's stories to share with our 1st graders. It's always fun to see the older Bulldogs teach the younger ones.

Our K-5 music students are excited to showcase their skills this Thursday at 6:00pm! Make sure to join us in Dow City for a festive musical celebration! Students should arrive by 5:30pm and report to their Homeroom teachers. The requested dress code is "holiday theme."

Monday there is no school for students. PD will start at 9:00 to allow staff extra travel time. This week we have both home and away basketball games as well as an away wrestling tournament. Elementary students will celebrate their concert Thursday night. We finish off our week with a home Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday. Drive safely in the snow, Bulldogs!

HS girls basketball today at 6 pm. No open gym/ball handling today. HS Boys practice tomorrow at 3 pm. Reminder no school tomorrow for teacher PD.

The high school band is preparing for their winter concert on Monday, December 15th. The band students enjoy learning new songs as well as technical terms .

Girls basketball season officially kicks off tonight! Our girls will take on Logan-Magnolia in their first game of the season. Varsity will play first at 6:00.
