On October 6th, Ms. Megan's class went to Grandpa's Pumpkin Farm in Panama. The students had a great time, and so did the staff! During the visit, the students practiced social skills and learned about the farm and how pumpkins grow. Each student received a pumpkin. What fun!
Change to the JH & JV football schedule for today: There will be no JH game and JV will play at 5:00 in Exira.
Today the Boyer Valley FFA participated in the harvest of their test plot west of town. Students in ag classes discussed, observed, and participated in the bean harvest. Thank you to all who volunteered, donated, and participated in the year long event. The students will work in class to create a report and plan for the following season.

Character Counts monthly winners! The students earned tickets for doing the right thing when nobody's watching, and helping others be successful. It's a lottery draw to get invited to the ice cream social. Congratulations to all students, there were a lot of tickets earned!

Boyer Valley Elementary is planning their October School Family activity and is in need of 24 med. to large pumpkins. If you know of anyone who has some they would be will to donate, please let the school know. We can arrange for pick up within a reasonable distance. Thank you!

If you have signed your child up for the cheer camp on Friday, we will be feeding your child before the football game. They will be cheering the first half of the game with the cheerleaders and will be performing their individual cheers at half time.
