Our student of the week is Vanessa Anderson– Vanessa works hard in class. She does not give up, even when the concepts are difficult. She is also a living example of kindness to other students and staff members.
Paula not only helps the Boyer Valley students find books, she also helps the entire town locate their next read. Looking for something to read as the days get cold, stop by the library and check out the selection.

On October the 4, the Boyer Valley Science Club did a generous act of kindness for their first meeting in which they cleaned Highway 30 going south west of town. They were led by Mrs. Pippitt and eight students showed up to the event. They started at 10:45 and ended at 12:00. After they were done with the job, they enjoyed pizza together and talked about the great win the Bulldog football team had homecoming night.

This Friday, October 17th is our Senior Night. Parents and non-football players, please line up on the north side of the bleachers at 6:05. We will begin alphabetically recognizing our Cheer, Band, and Cross Country players at 6:20. The football team will be recognized following this to allow time for warm-ups. Thanks for supporting our student athletes.

We are hiring, spread the word! Looking to start immediately.

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Cross Country team on their conference win October 9th. The girls ran on our home turf and solidified first place in the conference. In addition to this, our junior high boys also won the conference meet. Congratulations, Bulldogs.

The FBLA program will be hosting Penny Wars during the days of October 15th until October 23rd. The wars will be for all grades 6 through 12. Buckets will be placed in each homeroom. The competition will be between homerooms, not grades. Buckets will be delivered on Tuesday, October 14 during the 7th hour. During the 7th hour on Friday, October 17th we will collect the money from the buckets. Then we will collect the money again on October 23rd. The money that is raised will be donated to the Check the Girls Foundation, and also help pay for State Leadership Conference dues. Thank you for your time. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to email logan.thomsen@boyervalley.org.
