Mrs. Butler's 6th grade students learn about the dangers of drug use through the D.A.R.E program in cooperation with the Harrison County Sherriff's office. Our Boyer Valley FFA students invested in some cattle this year. This has been a huge learning experience for everyone involved in this activity. We are currently calving the cows out, and then we are going to sell them.
Every Monday, Will Epperly and Greg Thomsen go to Mrs. Schroeder's classroom and teach the students more about calving cows, what to look for, and how to keep them healthy. The Animal Science class has had a lot of fun learning and doing hands-on activities with this project.
