In February, our Kindergarten classes had so much fun participating in the Hearts Across America Challenge! ❤️🤍💙 We are excited to share that we received Valentine cards from 47 states, plus a few from outside the United States! 🌎💌 We are truly thankful for our amazing friends, families, community members, and schools across the U.S. who helped make this project such a success. Your kindness made our mail days extra special! Our kindergarteners loved listening and learning about where each card came from. We counted and tallied the states together and grew our geography skills along the way. It was meaningful, hands-on learning that made the experience even more special! We will be keeping the cards displayed through March so families can view them during conferences. Be sure to stop by and take a look! 💕 Thank you for helping us spread love across America! 💌

The esports team should be arriving back in Dunlap about 8:30. A fire truck will meet them and lead them back into town. If you'd like to welcome them back be on Main Street or the west side of the school around 8:30 tonight

Boyer Valley hosted the RVC Conference Band festival yesterday. 28 Boyer Valley music students participated in the festival. They rehearsed concert music with other RVC band students and ended their evening with a fantastic exhibition performance. It was a great day of music making!

Kia broke the school record for Girl - Dead Lift 345 lbs!!!

Our student of the week is Gavin Malone-- Gavin volunteers his time at every home sporting event to help out where needed.

Our athlete of the week is Jace Bromert- Jace won the WCB Athlete of the Week in the Harrison County paper. He has shown tremendous improvement this season.

March 2nd-6th is Read Across America Week. The middle school student council would like 6th-12th grade students to dress up to celebrate reading. Please send dress up pictures of you and your friends to Ms. Rico to be featured in the yearbook.

📚 It’s READ ACROSS AMERICA Week! 📚
Next week, we celebrate National Read Across America Day on March 2nd, honoring Dr. Seuss’s birthday. This year, Dr. Seuss would have turned 122!

We look forward to celebrating the joy of reading and encouraging our students to dive into great books all week long.

One of Dr. Seuss’s most famous quotes reminds us how special each child is:
“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”

Owen is our next Senior Spotlight.

Our student of the week for February 16th was Gianni Shumate! Gianni has been giving 110% in math class. He has made a huge improvement in algebra skills and improved his test scores!!!! He is also working hard in his other classes. He is helpful to others and comes in with a positive attitude and a smile! Congratulations, Gianni!
