Lifters of the Week.

Camden Block is our athlete of the week. Camden shot a 39 at the Griswold meet and won the whole thing. Congratulations Cam!
Mrs. Stowers is excited to motivate students through music.

Grandparents Day is 1:00-2:30 tomorrow in Dow City. The original post that said 11:00 was incorrect. Apologies for the miscommunication.
On April 22nd the 8th grade students traveled to Sioux City for the nonprofit organization, Tolerance Alliance, that sponsors Tolerance Week. The students were able to witness a special musical presentation by the world-renowned Violins of Hope. They heard songs composed in concentration camps and saw a violin that survived the ordeal. They were also able to tour the Holocaust Rails Museum to learn more about what life was life during this time in history.

Spring Awards Banquet will be Wednesday May 6th at 7:30, in the East (Old) Gym. This will follow the 5-12 Spring Concert that starts at 6:00 in the West (New) Gym.

Starting our Senior Spotlight this week, we have Amber.

Dane Gorham was our athlete of the week for last week. At the Ace Nelson Relays in Denison, Dane ran an outstanding 50.24 in the 400 Meter Dash, setting a new school record! The previous mark of 51.11 was held by Zach Ambrose (2016).

Weekly Announcements

The K-4th grade concert will take place Monday, April 27th at 6:00pm in Dow City.
The 5th-12th Band and Vocal concert take place Wednesday, May 6th at 6:00pm in Dunlap.
The 5th grade will only perform on May 6th (a change for this year).
The Kindergarten classes finished another unit in Math. In this unit, the students learned to find patterns within numbers to 100, counting on from any number to 100, counting by tens to 100, counting by fives to 100, and so much more!










Class of 2026 future plans.

Nash Murphy is our student of the week- Nash always has a positive attitude. He comes to class prepared and ready to go. He volunteers answers, is kind to everyone, and helps his classmates.
Boyer Valley’s HOSA group would like to send a big thank you to Pastor Wayne Stowers and the First Baptist Church in Kiron for donating supplies to our Care Closet!


HS Track for today has been postponed to tomorrow. HS golf has been postponed, TBD.
Today we celebrate the incredible individuals who keep our buildings running smoothly- our administrative professionals!
