Volleyball travels to Coon Rapids this evening! This will be the end of the JH season and be the last regular season match for HS. JV will play in a RVC West Triangular on Thurs 10/16 and Varsity will fully wrap up their regular season with the HOME conference tournament on Saturday 10/18.

🎮 Last weeks esports game was against Eagle Grove. The team started off strong having multiple players above 8 kills and winning the first game 6-0. Entering the second game confident the esports team got it done winning again 6-0 not giving a single round recording multiple double digit kill counts. Ending the match 2-0 they look towards next week's big match against Greene County. 🐏

JH/JV football has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 10/7 at Woodbine with JH at 4:30 and JV at approximately 6:30.
The Cross Country meet has been cancelled, it will not be made up tomorrow.
The JV/JH football games and cross country meet scheduled today will not be held today. We're currently waiting on confirmation of officials to see if postponing to tomorrow is possible. More details will be released soon.
Mr. Anderson's Freshman Science class has been learning about the properties of water through experiments.
Our Cross Country teams head to Woodbine today to compete in not only the Woodbine XC Meet but also the RVC XC Meet.

The Bulldogs will by on the road Monday, Tuesday, and Friday this week with a home meet on Thursday. Join us Wednesday for the blood drive, and cheer on our runners on our home turf on Thursday.
Sunday night at 6 there is open gym for grades 7-12.

Reese Miller is our Athlete of the Week. She is recognized for dedication on the court, her digs, and kills in the past volleyball games. Keep up the good work, Reese!
Jedadiah L is our student of the week. Jedadiah is one of the most positive students in this building. He never fails to say hello to you, even if he has already seen you multiple times that day. He works hard in class, and is constantly trying to put his best self forward.
The Boyer Valley jersey auction started off with the senior football players. The highest jersey bid was at almost $3000. Next up were the juniors, followed by the rest of the group. The highest bid was at $3100. The volleyball girls all sold their jerseys with the highest bid at $2500. The cross country team then sold their jerseys making the grand total of the night $44,000. We want to thank all of the businesses as well as families that come out to support our students. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and goes towards benefitting the students. Thank you.

October is breast cancer awareness month. We are starting the month off with a pink out at our volleyball game. Junior high starts at 4:00 in the old gym. JVR is at 5:45 in the new gym followed by JV at 6:25 and Varsity at 7:30. There will be baked goods available for purchase to support "Check the Girls." Come out to support your Lady dogs.

A huge thank you to GLC (Garrett Land and Cattle) Beef and Jerry TenEyck for their dedication to the Boyer Valley’s girls softball team. The Meat Market graciously donates all the meat that Jerry humbly gives up his time to grill for the spectators!! We appreciate all you do. One of the 8th graders' favorite activities in Mrs. Pippitt's science class is doing hands-on activities.
Once a month the Elementary students gather with their school family teacher and do activities together. This is a great opportunity for collaborating among all grade level students and make friendships within the school.
There's been changes to the JH/JV Football Schedule: the game vs Coon Rapids-Bayard has been moved from Monday 10/13 to Tuesday 10/14, due to avaliablity of offiicals. Additionally the JV game vs CRB has been cancelled due do a lack of available players for CRB.
